Beijing Immigration and Exit-Entry Service Industry Association Delegation Visits FGI Portugal

In July 2025, a delegation led by Qi Lixin, President of the Beijing Immigration and Exit-Entry Service Industry Association, visited FGI Portugal to review fund management, property development and delivery-service systems. The delegation visited the headquarters of Fidelidade, Portugal’s leading insurer, and attended the opening celebration for FGI’s relocated Lisbon office.

Planning the Delegation Itinerary

In July 2025, a delegation led by Qi Lixin, President of the Beijing Immigration and Exit-Entry Service Industry Association, travelled to Europe for field visits. As host for the Portugal stop, FGI Group Holdings promptly coordinated local resources and professional teams after receiving notice, and planned the itinerary with the Association. The visit focused on FUTURE’s core underlying assets, project-delivery pathways and service-team capability, with the aim of gaining a comprehensive understanding of project compliance, security and sustainable operating capability through field visits and face-to-face exchanges.

Inside a Leading Portuguese Insurance Group

That morning, accompanied by the FGI team, the delegation visited the headquarters of Fidelidade, Portugal’s largest insurance group. Investment Department representatives hosted the delegation and provided a systematic explanation of key topics including bond structures, security ratings and historical returns, presenting the allocation logic of Portuguese insurance capital from an institutional-investment perspective.

Discussion

Discussion of Compliance and Asset Resilience

During the on-site discussion, the delegation and Fidelidade team exchanged views candidly on topics including product compliance and asset resilience. President Qi Lixin stated that the face-to-face exchange helped the delegation understand more clearly the core logic and security design behind the underlying investment assets. The itinerary was coordinated by FGI to help the Association efficiently reach key institutions and underlying assets within a limited timeframe.

Attending FGI’s Relocation Celebration

That evening, the delegation attended the reception for FGI Portugal’s office relocation celebration. They visited the newly opened Lisbon office of approximately 500 square metres and joined Portuguese representatives from the financial, legal and professional sectors in marking a new stage in the Group’s development in Portugal. President Qi Lixin delivered remarks, stating that the visit had deepened understanding of relevant Portuguese investment projects, recognising FGI’s professional local-service capability and international resource integration, and expressing interest in further cooperation while congratulating the Group on its relocation.

As a project operator with more than a decade of experience in Portugal, FGI has developed an end-to-end service platform covering residence planning, education coordination, asset allocation and local delivery management. Its business units include fund management (FGI Capital), property development (FGI Real Estate), licensed construction contracting (Fado Construction), leasing and delivery management (Falcon), overseas investment business (FGI (HK)), and tax and legal compliance services, forming a locally operated system with coordinated business units. FGI Portugal’s local team supports clients’ settlement journey through Chinese-Portuguese bilingual capabilities and local experience. Operations lead Giselle Feng coordinates client and project workstreams; Sharon Li manages China-Portugal channel coordination and local resource integration; Susie Sun leads leasing operations, delivery and settling-in coordination; Candy Tang moved from Golden Residence services into leasing management, helping ensure continuity of client service; Ricardo Leitao, Rodrigo Munha and Mário Neves Rodrigues form the construction team covering the full cycle of design, construction and supervision; certified accountant Paula Mendes is responsible for financial oversight to ensure tax and financial compliance and transparency; and Mafalda coordinates administration, reception and logistical support.
